Best New Year's Journaling Prompts to Start 2024 for Couples or Singles

Deep Questions to Ask Your Partner

Starting the new year with reflection and intention is life changing. Most of us are go-go-go and we don't really ever look back, but reflecting and acknowledging how far you've come can be beneficial to the year ahead... awareness is the key to not repeating the same "mistakes" over and over.

My fiance, Mark, and I created this New Year tradition and we had such a powerful experience that we want to share it with you all.

We laughed. We cried. We felt more connected.

The best foundation for your relationship with your partner (and yourself) is one where you can be fully transparent, honest, feel heard, and supported.

We hope that as you go through these questions, that they will help you gain clarity for your year ahead.

Steps for your New Year's Journaling

Start your journaling session with setting the intention. If you are doing this with a partner plan ahead that this is what you are going to do. Get grounded before by meditating together, setting the mood with music, candles, clearing the energy of the room by burning herbs (sage, palo santo, incense, etc), and get relaxed.

It is recommended to start a dedicated journal / notebook for you and your partner, one that you can use throughout the year together. If you are doing this solo, you can use the same notebook or journal you use for other journaling.

*We will be posting more journal ideas throughout the year so make sure you get on our VIP email list or join the sisterhood here.

11 Questions to Ask and Write Down Your Answers as detailed as possible:

At the top of the page write the date and location (city/state) where you currently are.

If you are doing this with a partner, first write down the question, then your name and answer, then their name and answer so you can keep track of who said what. Start a tradition to do this every year.
